Networking Logistics Centres in the Baltic Sea Region
About NeLoC
The principal aim of this project funded by the Baltic Sea Region INTERREG III B programme is to promote networking of existing and planned logistics centres in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR). The project will also strengthen and create co-operation in the logistics field between European Union member states and accession countries and enhance the efficiency of logistics chains among other things. The project activities have started on the 1st of February 2002 and will last until 31st March 2004.

The Centre for Maritime Studies of the University of Turku in Finland acts as the project co-ordinator for the NeLoC project. All together the project consists of 25 partners in five Baltic Sea countries, namely Denmark, Finland, Germany, Lithuania and Poland. Lithuania gets its funding from CBC Phare programme and Poland from the National Committee for Scientific Research.
