TECHNIKZENTRUM Fördergesellschaft mbH - TZL

The Technikzentrum Lübeck (TZL) operates at the interface between business and science. For more than 10 years experience- and know-how transfer as well as innovation promoting joint projects have been carried out within TZL. Basic science, research, application and engineering respectively natural sciences are integrated just as informatics and management techniques.

TZL is aiming at the creation of thematic, regional co-operation and innovation structure for active and systematic utilisation of the regional co-operation, improvement, and innovation potentials. Here the aim is to improve the location quality of both Schleswig-Holstein and Lübeck significantly and to create respectively to preserve the attractive and future oriented markets. The main focus of TZL is therefore to promote the development of innovative products, systems and processes, their testing and their diffusion on the market.

With a regional, multidisciplinary network of companies, universities and institutes of higher learning as well as relevant service providers. Thus the main goal of TZL is the promotion of start-ups and spinn-offs as well as the development and marketing of innovative marketable technology products and services in Schleswig-Holstein. Innovation potentials shall thereby be initiated actively (e.g. by knowledge transfer, co-operation mediation and information supply), discovered, promoted and strengthened at an early stage.
