Kaunas City Muncipality

Kaunas is the second biggest city in Lithuania and the centre of the Kaunas County. The whole area of the city is 15,7 thousand hectares, out of which 6,8 thousand ha is covered by structures, 0,1 thousand ha by roads, 1.8 thousand ha by agricultural areas, 2,2 thousand ha by green areas, 1.2 thousand ha by water, 3,6 thousand ha by areas of other purpose.

Kaunas City Municipality contains on Chief Executive Officer, Department of General Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of City Economy, Department of Culture and Education, Department of City Development and Chancellery.
